alternet just posted an article on some research a scientist is doing to make a real deal love drug.
the age old question of 'love or money' may be removed from the either/or category. this research scientist dood says someday, you'll be able to take a pill, and in an eternal-sunshine-esque manner chemicals will be emitted on various receptor sites in your brain that are triggered by feelings of infatuation, love, lust, attraction. the map will be traced and recorded, and you'll be able to rummage up feelings of love & lust for anyone, as lusty after that old geezer as you were at sixteen for your high school sweetheart.
the new question will be, would you rather let a relationship run its natural course, let it gradually fizzle, or alter your feelings for a person with a pill to maintain that initial tipsy, warm feeling buzzing in your heart?
science is creepy.
being a couple's counselor might get easier, too.
